Javelina also called Collared Peccary and Skunk Pig (Tayassu tajacu: Tayassuidae). 0.9-1.2 m (3-4 ft) long, 0.61 m (2.0 ft) tall, and weigh 15.9-25.0 kg (35-55) lbs. Near sunset.
Habitat
Roadside on a loma, Mesquite thicket with Tamaulipan scrub habitat within the Gulf Coast Prairies and Marshes vegetational area at ca. 8.2 m (27 ft).
Location
Boca Chica Road (Hwy 4) east of Brownsville, Cameron County, Texas, USA.
