Wow Chris... you've still got clever Jays with you then LOL I love how they've learnt to pull the string up like that.

Yeah, I sympathise, I'm over-run with birds today and had to re-fill a feeder a couple of hours earlier than normal. Must remember to get back to the shop before my usual supplier goes on holiday in a few days.
 
Those nuts do look tempting for me...leave alone the birds..LOL!!! Excellent detail, colors and a lovely behaviour shot of this Jay!!!!

A beauty Chris, know what your saying, those Jays can pack away the peanuts, I counted one with 34 nuts before flying off, then coming back for more.
 
LOL, you and me both Chris!! At least the nuts are providing you with outstanding captures like this one. The feather clarity is amazing through that glass!
