Jay in the rain

Jay in the rain (Garrulus glandarius)

Through wet/smeary double glazing, as it rained all day. I've now at least 6 Jays each day; a few are in my trees all day, and fly to the fence as soon as they see me throw monkey nuts out.

A terrific capture of the Jay with raised crest, Chris! I like the way you can actually see the rain.

His expression seems to be reflecting the dismal weather you've got. It was nice here yesterday BTW;)

I've been trying to get rain pictures, but can't get a bird to sit for me LOL.

A lovely image this Chris, well done.

Brilliant facial expression with its top feathers raised like a crest with that eye wide open. Fantastic Chris!!!!
