Jay on a snowy day 1 (Garrulus glandarius)

21st March was the day of the Jays. I got my best Jay shots so far that day I reckon. More to follow...

The boat trip yesterday was tremendous fun. It was a lovely sunny day and there were lots of great birds in the archipelago - Eiders and Long-tailed ducks in huge numbers and an awful lots of auks (Guillemots, Black Guillemots and Razorbills).
The highpoint was when 50 plus frolicking Grey Seals stared at the boat with great interest while an adult White-tailed Eagle sat on a rocky islet immediately behind them.
