Jay (Garrulus glandarius)

The German name of the Jay is 'Eichelhher', ( acorn jay), and this autumn acorns are abundant and big.The jays are very busy hoarding them for difficult times to come.

Oh my!!! What a great picture you've taken of this Jay Anne! They're such pretty birds, aren't they.

They're pretty scarce in this area, so I rarely get a chance to see them.
