well, i have finally got a flight shot of this species. whew! had to return to san diego to do it though.

Great action shot. I have not been able to get a decent shot from this species, talk about a shy bird.

Oh is this one nice, no magnificent. I have one with a fish in its beak but nothing close to being as sharp as this one. As Robert said, that is one great flight shot.

Nice shot of her, Rich. Seems like they constantly chatter. Saw one chase (or follow) the other past my house on the Creek this a.m. Rarely get to see those stubby legless feet. No doubt which end this bird fishes with! Sooo the intrepid traveler has come full circle!
 
Great capture Richard this brings back memorys of a trip I made to Florida last year
