... before migrating
out to their
nesting grounds ...

Pairs reuse their
old nests for many
years ... ( LOL, property
in human parlance}
reinforcing
and repairing it
every time, depending
on the need ...
... as a result these
nests may become
more than 10 feet wide
and several feet
deep ... not to say
very smelly as well ...

... but ... home
as we all know ... is
the sweetest place ...
