Great shot, Ian. Still learning my birds, for sure. You might disagree, but he reminds me of our Lesser Scaup. It isn't the best shot, but I will post a photo or two of the LS in the Eagle Marsh thread, to see what you think of the similarities.

Scott (Joker 9937) and I have similar equipment and swap tips ( if you can call them that).

He said, and I have said also; like you....that digiscoping with a smart phone is just not as easy as it seems. Heavy equipment, slow reaction times etc dont make getting the shot easy.
