I like the composition Kits: the patch of greenery in the foreground, the bird still in dappled shade, perhaps deciding whether to venture out into the sunlight. Though it's more often later in the year that I see young pigeons and doves, as well as young blackbirds, keeping in shadow on the ground as much as possible for safety's sake.
