juvenile blackbird. (turdas merula)

another regular visitor but taken with my olympus.i decided to go out and sit before i went to work usually i take my garden images threw the window and it surprised me just how many birds still appeared with me sat in the middle of my small garden although i had to move very slowly to take captures infact sat with the olympus at eye level for quite a while.i must admit now writing this i know how i woke the other day with a sore neck and its still sore.

Great pose and setting, Margaret. (You don't realise how long you're watching and taking pics, so it's too easy to overdo it)
 
Sore neck...join the club Margaret!! But well worth the effort... I love the blackbirds, they really are very approachable .. This is a super shot with a great setting.
 
Three super garden captures Mags...The birds are usually tolerant as long as you stay still, its rapid movements that catch their eye and scares em off. Hope your neck feels better soon lass.
