Juvenile Herring Gull
This is to show Ann what I do when I can't PP the inconvenient grass/leaves/twigs etc... cut it off and show a close crop instead!!:-O

Some out of focus blades of grass cut right across his middle and tail, and I'd not a clue where to start to try and repair it, so you've got a close-up instead of the whole bird today.

I did try to re-position myself to get the grass out of the picture but it just wasn't possible without getting my feet wet, or falling into a bush!

Nice one Delia...I will be making an appointment with you for Photoshop lessons soon.

Have faced such situations umpteen times which frustrate me no end! Yeah, Delia; it is just not worth taking the risk at your age nor mine! Lol. Still, a super close up shot, well done!! tfs.

Incidentally, my Fuji is back after repairs. Contemplating to buy Nikon P 900 with a whopping zoom of 83x, which is double that of our Fuji hs 50 exr. That should solve the problem to an extent. Now that I have given you an idea, hope you don't beat me to it! Lol.

What a super shot this is D! So nicely captured girl.

Incidentally, Ramesh has beaten me to the P 900, that is how I could borrow his old camera.

Nice portrait shot Delia, tfs. It's difficult to take any descent photos with the sun straight in front of you.
