Juvenile male Stonechat (Saxicola torquata?)

Did not think I would be able to venture outside today, let alone manage a couple of pics, but in between the showers hey presto,a tiny male Stonechat. He had been bathing in a puddle(of which there are many!!!),then he flew off into the nettles and brambles. He looks so vulnerable and small.Just starting to show the orange flecks which will eventually mature into his beautiful orange chest. One of my fav species
I know the species Latin name has changed, but do not know the full name.So if anyone can tell me the new name,I will write it in my bird id book. Thankyou

He's lovely and looks very vulnerable.
Can't find another Latin name than the one you've provided.

Happy to say Christine that we never ended up like that, we were safely tucked up in the hide when the rain hit.

Lovely 'summery' image. ;)
