Juvenile Red-billed Gull
I took this photograph with my latest acquisition, which is a Canon Power Shot SX50 HS Camera. Not a bad camera, the only fault I find with it is trying to find the target. Not nearly as quick as with my other equipment.
Habitat
Lagoon
Location
Westshore Wildlife Reserve, Napier.
Date taken
1 February 2015
Scientific name
Chroicocephalus novaehollandiae
Equipment used

Great shot Dick, well done. Tfs

I see you succumbed and bought one, you won't regret it mate.

A beautiful action shot with your new SX50HS Rookery !!! Thanks for sharing.

nice capture dick.bridges are great cameras for the reach they get and can give really good quality images too but they are slower than dlsr.i usually try to antisipate the birds next move and focus on that area and hope for the best because once you press that shutter button it does take a while to capture the image.tfs.all the best margaret.
