Quite unusual this season as I've seen more adult Cards feeding Cowbird juvies. It was a pleasure seeing an actual juvie Cardinal.

it seems that cow birds are like cuckoo birds here. but i thought that cardinals are smarter than this.

a sight i would love to see kc those beautiful cardinals feeding cowbirds and a behaviour i will need to look into.one gorgeous capture of this beauty.a bird i have known for a long time and admired but never seen only in books the cardinal.you lucky girl many tfs kc.all the best margaret.
