Habitat: Karoo shrublands and coastal shrublands on the west coast

Location: Port Nolloth, NW South Africa

Date taken: 20th December 2006

Scientific name: Calendulauda albescens

Equipment used: Canon 20D, 100-400IS Lens

That's a great little bird, well photographed. A new one for me, thank you.

Interesting species, it is lovely looking Lark, very nice rusty colour. I like the sandy setting too, nice composition. Cheers!
