Keel billed toucan
This is the second toucan I've ever seen in the wild. I spotted him early in the morning on the last day of my trip to Playa Del Carmen. He was such a gift to see! I saw my first toucan in the jungles of Colombia. I love toucans but they are very elusive and hard to spot. I hope to see more in the future.

Thank you for all your continued kind and thoughtful comments on my photos. I appreciate them all very much! Keep safe and well everyone. Sending love from Vancouver Canada. :)

Beautiful view of this gorgeous Toucan! I imagine everyone that lays eyes on a Toucan never forgets it and can't wait to see another. Fabulous open view staying concealed under the large Cecropia leaves. First-rate Anna! TFS!

Fantastic Anna! We tried to spot one in Costa Rica last March, but were not as quick as the guide. So glad you have seen another one. Nice shot with that Lumix. Same gear on this end.

what a marvelous bird, Anna, and a great photo you've taken of this beauty. I only managed so far to see one toucan species, the "classic" toco toucan. Many thanks for sharing this wonderful image.
Keep safe!
