Keeping Twilight

Keeping Twilight

When I was a child my aunts used to sit quietly looking out the kitchen window for a while, around time for the sunset. They said they were "keeping twilight". This willow watched the sunrise in a way that reminded me of my aunts - 5 seconds for a willow, equals about 15 minutes for my aunts :-)

The master of the sombre, low-key light! Superbly evocative image Hans.
