Kingfisher - early digiscope (Geryle alcyon)

Sepia prints remind us of a bygone era. Five years ago I held my first digital still camera, a 3-megapixel Canon up to a spotting scope and took this photograph. It would be two full years before I visited Birdforum.net, and saw the term "digiscope."

Nice picture, I'm always in favor of digiscoping apposed to DSLR as it is harder to do. This gets my vote.
