This was taken at Lowbans today. It was raining and I didn't expect to see much. But it turned out to be the best day with the kingfisher!!!

There are so many good close up kf shots in this gallery but for me this one is much more special. It places the kf in its habitat and makes it so much more real. The rain is a great touch. Lovely fresh colours, a great pose on the bird and a very good composition. Love it well done :t:
