Kingfisher (Alcedo atthis)

I made a real cock up doing Kingfishers. I did not bring my reading glasses to look at live view. Using the view finder to manually focus I ended up slightly front focusing a lot of the time.

Met Paul Hackett ..hope you had a safe journey back home Paul

Full frame at 1000mm.

Nothing wrong with this wonderful image,Adrian!! Gone to my favourites mate. Thanks. Don't know Mike Hallet but he should be glad he met you!! ;);

Sorry Ove...I meant Paul Hackett...I'm useless with names! Mike Hallett is a snooker player (a good one too) and commentator and used to be a friend of mine many years ago.

A beautiful gem, a jewel in your lens, you captured so beautifully...i'll will dream of this sweetly tonight.
It echo's in the mind and sends a shiver down my spine. Pure Dancy brilliance:clap:

I don't know what you're thinking but you did a damn fine job capturing this beautiful Kingfisher Adrian. Love the backdrop too.
