Kings Park
We went to Kings Park for lunch. Such a beautifully laid out area of parkland, woodland and gardens with a war memorial as a centre piece.

We had lunch (very nice) then June and I set off to go for a walk around.

Unfortunately I didn't get too far... it was extremely hot and humid that day (around 40ish C and it was still spring time there remember). So we beat a retreat back to the restaurant.

After a cool drink and a look around the rather smart shop there, it was decided to go to some friends of Alex and June, where they were spending the night.

I flew out home that evening and arrived about 24 hours later in temperatures of -2C (bit of a shock that!)

What a lovely Park this is and so very peaceful looking D!

I'll bet the temp difference was a bit of a shock ;)

Looks like the end of your trip Delia glad you came last year as it would have been a no go this one in more ways than one. Trust you know Hans isn't the best at the moment .

Nice shot Delia..you will be pleased to know Perth is pretty much unaffected by the Covid virus.

We have not had any community transmission in Perth for over 6 months so brding as usual for most of us except that we can't travel interstate or overseas.

Take care

A beautiful park indeed D. Sorry about that high temperature and humidity. Combined they can be quite deadly. TFS this beautiful area!
