A first for new york state as far as i know.kirtlands warbler,not a good picture at all but i do ubt i will see another one so i thought to share it anyway.

Congratulations on a lifer and a new record. I had no idea that this is the rarest songbird in North America. Brilliant Glide!
 
I had no idea until after i saw it and a couple of birders told me.Of course american and songbird rules out other rariety's that pop up,strays and vagrants.also other species not in the songbird category.
