Kookaburra Bird (Kookaburra)

A rare visitor arrived this week end to The Grange CL www.thegrangecl.co.uk. My first thought was that it may have escaped from Banham Zoo a few miles away. However, after contacting the zoo I was informed that it was not 1 of there Kookaburras and after further checks to other sanctuary no bird had been reported missing? The bird seems to be in a very healthy condition, hope no harm becomes of it. I will keep a look out for it over the coming days.

What a neat find for you and a great capture. Do people keep these guys as caged pets?

Nice shot, welcome to Birdforum.Net...Are the birders gonna go nuts over this bird?
