Kookaburra (lifer)
A lifer for me I either don't have my camera or I am driving when I see one of our precious Aussie Kookaburra's but today was my lucky day I went for a walk to see if I could photograph some of our local birdlife I got to a little dirt road where there is an abundance of finches when just as I got halfway down I looked up and there he was a precious Kookaburra sussing out the dried grassy area for a afternoon meal well my fingers went a snapping didn't want to miss a moment probably won't get theses snaps again I have to say he was a real gentleman stayed till I finished my photoshoot didn't fly off till I left what a bonzer made my day.
