Lady Stone (Saxicola torquata)

Well Peeps,
It was such a lovely day yesterday, and I finally got out for a few hours, first time in almost two weeks. I bussed it out to Pett Level and spent a few hours wandering around the Levels. Not too much about, but great to be out in the field again, and so today I'm having more of the same, and going for a walk around Alexandra Park...Catch up with y'all later.

I was really happy to see a pair of these birds, as I've not seen many in recent years. The male to come tomorrow.

A wonderfully detailed and posed study of this lovely lady, mali.

Superb pose and backdrop with great detail. Beautiful birds. Unfortunately, very very rare here. Thank you for your comment about my hide. It took me a lot of time to find it after I took some quick shots of it. LOL.

Glad to hear you were able to get out in the field, really super capture of the Stonechat Mali!!!
