Lost Wetland Images ...

A Lifer in the
Lost wetland ...

Ruddy-breasted Crake ...

A shy and elusive bird
... generally hides
among the reed ... coming
out at dawn and
dusk ...
This was captured when
Sun was already down
and light being less
than ordinary ...
It was foraging along
with Baillon's Crake ...
another Lifer to us

Luckily, we could get
the two of them together
in a video (... I've
uploaded ) and
at least in one still ... that
can be shared ...

But, unfortunately, the
area is now destroyed
or
more appropriately ...
converted ...
all this
becomes a valuable
record of another
lost ' Mini-Eden ' ...
