Lakescape - 412 (Mareca falcata)

Lakescape ...

This is a
snapshot key to
the video on
Falcated Duck ...
... that I have
uploaded ...

there are two
individuals ...
One each seen in
two parts of video
... briefly
between 02-04 second
... and again between
73-76 seconds ... as
it runs for 120 sec.

There were a few thousand
migratory ducks ... few
hundred meters to more than
a Km away ... in a very
large Terai-reservoir ...
on a murky winter
afternoon with poor
ambient light
... when
this lifer was spotted
by us among them ... and
we promptly lost them, too
in a couple of minutes
...
Shared a still of one
earlier ...

Other birds seen are ...

Ferruginous Duck
Gadwall
Coot

In the video one can
see Red-crested Pochard
and Common Pochard as well
