Lakescape - 420 (Tringa stagnatilis)

Another image from the
Lost-Wetlands ...

A fabulous Migratory
species ... coming
long way down to
India from the
Sub-Arctic / Arctic Circle ...

The Global Warming and
resultant Climate change
may lead to changes in
the Miratory Pattern
of birds ...
... we may or may not
see some of them
in India in coming
decades ...
This one was captured
almost at the time of
migrating out of
India ... and is already
showing some change in
plumage coloration ...
... probably
will use the transit
time to be ready for nesting
soon on reaching there

We'll be out on our
first winter-birding day
out today, this season ...
... hope to see and
image some of the
wonderful migratory
species ...

Watch this lovely individual
in a video-clip ...
