Lammergeier - Bearded Vulture - Quebrantahuesos (Gypaetus barbatus)

We stopped off in the Spanish Pynenees for a break on our long drive from Germany to Spain. We asked at the hotel if we might find Lammergeier locally. The receptionist phoned a local birder who suggested where we might look. Two kilometers from the hotel we found a pair together with several Black Vultures. Bingo! Our lucky day.
