Lapland Longspur (Calcarius lapponicus)

A poor photo of my first Lapland Longspur (lifer #399), the bird with the strongly patterned face in the center with its back to the camera. An annual stray to Humboldt County, this bird was seen at King Salmon at the south end of the bay.
