Wonderful display shot
First time I saw lapwings was during their courting season. I was living about 10 stories up in a high rise dorm that faced over a field where lapwings nested. I had a ring-side view, and I must say it was easy to see how this display would be effective. I certainly fell in love with them. Too bad I didn't have a good camera back then, and wasn't a birder.
