Lapwings (Vanellus vanellus)

Lapwings - I am off gallivanting again today and won't be back till late next week. I hope you all have successful captures and will catch up with you all then.
Habitat
Lapwings are found on farmland throughout the UK particularly in lowland areas of northern England, the Borders and eastern Scotland. In the breeding season prefer spring sown cereals, root crops, permanent unimproved pasture, meadows and fallow fields. T

Another lovely shot with wistful looks. I guess they'll miss you too this week. Have a great galivant! Looking forward to seeing what you bring back for us ;)

You've caught the colours perfectly, Keith, and the reflections are an added bonus.
