Laughing Gull & Brown Pelican

This Laughing Gull was trying to steal a few morsels from the Brown Pelican. The Pelican didn't seem to mind the Gull riding around on its back, for a while anyway. This was taken from the ferry at the South dock, Mayport.

Kleptoparasitism at its best, though Frigatebirds are the masters. Brilliant capture and picture of this behavior. Excellent work Newton!!!!
