Lazuli Butning (Passerina amoena)

A very gray day in Portland. I was concerned about there being enough light for my kit....but at Powell Butte Park I came upon Lazuli Bunting. What a treat. And what a treat to be sharing with you again.

Powell Butte, Portland, Oregon

3 nice shots of this lovely bird. In our location, they are mostly found in Colony Farm in Coquitlam. Last year there was a solitary Indigo Bunting amixed with a group of Lazuli there. Wonder if they can produce a hybrid this year!
