LBJ in the dark
Can't be anything other than a female Chaffinch this one.

It really was pretty dark in there, but some brightness in the background. With Ann's encouragement and tuition I upped the exposure bias .... and up and up.... to the max of +7 on my camera!!!

And then when I was preparing it to upload here, I lightened it as well!

Hi Delia!!! One fine post and cheers to your technique!!! Beautiful capture !!! Most of my shots in forests are outright "uneditable".... not sure even if that term exists!!!
 
Nice picture Delia, not everyone can handle hi exposures so well (me included), I often loose some birds because I'm not good at upping the exposure :) well done my friend.
