Lean Back Shrike (Lanius collurio)

Caught this shrike taking a rest, It must be very hard work hunting in the hot weather. He seems to be leaning back on his tail feathers for support while he rested.

Nice shot,Donald! About the tail,they wag their tale from side to side if they are upset,have seen this myself last year when i got to close to their nesting site.
