Least Flycatcher (Empidonax minimus)

I was photographing his bigger cousin, the Kingbird, when this little guy showed up. A very pleasant surprise. He was eager to get his picture taken!
Habitat
Thicket of trees and brush
Location
Northeastern Pennsylvania
Date taken
5/10/08
Scientific name
Empidonax minimus
Equipment used
Canon EOS 20D and Canon EF 100-400mm
I find these things amoungst the most difficult to ID; I'll take your word for it. Good image. :t: :t:

Digi.....Had it not been for its clear and distinct song prior to the sighting, I would have played the guessing game, too....but the familiar "Che-bek" call was very identifiable. They can be tough!
