Least peep (Calidris minutilla)

Saw loads of both Western and Least Sandpipers along the east shore of SF Bay that day and the next. I wish some day to see a Semi-palmated, but oh well. These guys are so cute I can't really complain.

They do look rather sweet, don't they Ann. In much the same way as our Dunlins do.

A lovely picture this - dinnae fret, you'll get your semi-p one day!!;)
