Least Terns (Sternula antillarum)

Just outside the Estuary in San Jose Del Cabo, is a small piece of land set aside as a reserve for the Least Terns. This area is protected for them to have a nesting site.

Being a volunteer who keeps counts of our dwindling Least Tern population It's nice to know that they are being protected on your turf as well. A lovely image.
