Gulf Prairies and Marshes vegetation area, tidal flats along a small barrier island between Nueces and Corpus Christi Bays.

Sunset Lake Park, Portland, Nueces County, Texas, USA.

A top notch flight shot Stanley, showing both upperwing and underwing. work. Excellent work.

(I saw the only one recorded in the Western Palearctic, and had to be content with an awful record shot. ID was by the distinctive call).
