Lesser Scaup(Female) and Mallard (Aythya affinis, Anas platyrhynchos)

At the Ann Arbor WWTP there are mallards present all year, sometimes 500 or more. (Wood Ducks are seen March - November). Other ducks show up occasionally, sometimes staying only a day or two. I've seen males of this species there before, but this is the first female.
