Lesser Yellowlegs (Tringa flavipes)

Found three Lesser Yellowlegs foraging in a local farmers field near river that floods a little each spring and attracts migrating shorebirds that pass thru the area.

That's a lovely picture to get of this wader Ken. I love them... takes me right back to a day's birding with some of our Scottish members, when I saw two Lifers at the same spot!!

Three beauties Ken, sounds like a really posh car you drive buddy...I have this species in my gallery. A rare for the UK, but one showed up just along the road from here last year.
