Lesson 1
Peter Withers

Lesson 1

Lesson 1:

When taking birds on the wing ie: Buzzards soaring always remember to change your settings back or you will over-expose!! ;)

I had never ever seen a Goldcrest this close before let alone been able to get a shot of it. And I go and faff it up!

We live and learn.:)

Its still a cool shot peter, don't be too hard on yourself there are plenty of us who would like one this good m8 !!!

Super little bird and lovely photo! (Lesson # 2: Never use the same camera to photograph relatives cutting cake in the evening and a fleeting rarity in the field the next morning).

It's always the one we've waited longest for that we mess up Peter - but a mess-up like this one? Well, I wish it was my mess-up, that's all I've got to say - I'd be very proud of it.

Wish I could faff about and mess up like this Peter!! :-O

Nice composition :t:
