Life can be very hard. (Quiscalus mexicanus)

This male grackle looks great. But it had to hold this pose everytime a female is around. This one was posing for a long time, and not one of the females feeding in the beach paid it any notice.

Dear God, if I have to be born a bird, not a male grackle please.

LOL Sandeep.... that makes my sore neck hurt even more, just looking at him!!! So I hope you don't come back as one, unless you are very supple!!!;)

What a great pose to capture - that's a cracker of a picture!! Very well done my friend.

Poor guy. All that effort for no returns. ;)

Splendid - caption / pose / setting.

I think in pretty much all bird species, it's the female who chooses. So whatever the behaviour or looks the females value, that's what the males have to show. So maybe you should wish that if you have to come back as a bird, you come back as a female ;)
