Lifer two
A Muntjac wandered down through the grass near where the Mallard had been.

Knew I'd never seen one of these before and pointed it out to other people in the hide; they told me what it was. We don't get them in Scotland, at least not round here.

So hot on the heels of the morning's Lifer, Hobby, this was a tick I didn't even plan for LOL.

A brilliant capture of this fabulous lifer, Delia ... great work ... during our last visit to Himalayas, we spotted it in the thick undergrowth, but could take only a few record shots ... you did very well here ... congratulation on this 'unplanned' lifer ...

Some days are like that but on others we return empty handed. Well spotted & superbly captured through all that foliage, Delia!! tfs & congrats.
