Life's better together... (Dendrocopos major)

A nice memory for me :)
For others the difficulty of photographing birds may be in composition, or the swiftness of the bird. For me, my camera is the enemy. Wrestled my camera for control of its focus for a long while before I managed to snap a decent photo of them. As such, I edited this photo as much as possible to remove the blur.
Great spotted woodpeckers are very elusive near my garden, but these two got everywhere on the 3rd of April. Managed a few decent views of them. But, due to my bad camera, this was the best. Am waiting for April for a possible upgrade...

You did well to spot them in the trees Gleb, and to focus with all the intervening branches.

You're lucky you get them - I've never seen a woodpecker in the gardens here, have to go to the edge of town for a chance of seeing any!
