It's been decades since I set my eyes on lichen..... Your posts remind me of the days when we used to climb hills for fun...even then I was very much interested in nature. Thanks for sharing your wonderful captures Stanley!!!!

Hmmm, might just have to take Son-in-Law to Big Bend. The rest of us would be gazing at distant views, and he'd be studying a dozen types of lichen and moss on a small patch of rock ;)
