Lincoln’s Sparrow (Melospiza lincolnii lincolnii) John James Audubon named the Lincoln’s Sparrow after his friend Thomas Lincoln who shot the bird on an expedition with Audubon to Nova Scotia in 1834.
Habitat
Pos Oak Savannah vegetation area. Weedy area with small shrubs at ca. 88 m (289 ft) elevation.
Location
Camelot Park, Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, USA.
