Lining up for their next meal (Fulica atra)

Not all that sharp, but these "ugly babies" are so cute I couldn't resist putting this one in my posting queue.
Gotta post and run. Luggage pickup coming soon. Have recovered well from yesterday's hike. Latest first: linnet, spotted far out in a field of rapeseed, so not a great shot but recognizable. Short hike today, so I should be able to catch up on browsing at our next stop.
