litter patrol (erithacus rubecula)

this robin landed on the bin as i was feeding the swans but it need not be afraid as i always put food on the ground as well and anyway my house is only a minute from here..don`t know about you guys but at this time of year no matter where i go to birdwatch a robin always appears at close range and in view.love these fiesty little birds.

Cute shot, well titled |=)| I actually had a robin in my garden the other morning, unfortunately a good while before sunrise so too little light for a shot. They're not as common here, or as bold, as in the UK. But we do hear them around here and, with a bit of patience, see them too. Always a treat! :D
